About Reiki
The Buddhist monk and seeker Mikao Usui was the originator of what we now call Reiki- a japanese word meaning "spiritual energy". According to tradition, Usui re-discovered Reiki on a mountain in Japan while seeking a closer connection with the Divine. We say "re-discovered" because Master Usui believed that he was granted knowledge which humanity had already once possessed and then lost to time.
Reiki is Universal Life Energy, the container of Consciousness and an access code to the Ascension frequency. Life force is something we all have in common. Reiki works on the physcial, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. It grounds the body, expands consciousness and balances the emotions.
Shamanic Reiki
Shamanic Reiki is a variation of the original Reiki, which has developed alongside other modern reiki types (such as Holy Reiki). In Shamanic Reiki, the practitioner has cultivated relationships with Spirit, Guides, and Ancient Ancestors.
During the session, the practitioner calls on the energies of various guides, including your own. (Whether you have a relationship with them or not). This collection of energies helps direct and guide the intention both in the session and out of it to help set you more fully on your chosen path of healing.
The Practitioner may also utilize shamanic tools and practices during the session to help balance chakras, break up stagnant energies, and assist in cutting energetic cords when needed.

In Person Reiki 30/60/90 minutes
I come to you carrying incense, soothing music, a comfortable massage table, crystals, and a selection of essential oils. Full session of at least an hour are recommended to allow time for both intake before the energy work and processing of the experience afterwards.
